CT Bone Densitometry is a fast, accurate, and convenient tool that uses a CT scanner to detect Osteoporosis. This measures the following:(1) Trabecular spine BMD for early detection of low bone mass and sensitive treatment monitoring, and (2) Dexa Scan-equivalent hip BMD for use in diagnosis of osteoporosis and low bone mass, and fracture risk assessment.
Screening Mammograms can detect changes in the breast up to two years before a patient or physician can feel them on examination. Current guidelines from the American Cancer Society (ACS) recommend screening mammograms every year for women beginning at age 40. Research has shown that annual mammograms lead to early detection of breast cancers when they are more easily curable and breast-conservation therapies are available.
Eliminate an extra visit to a lab facility or another visit to the hospital by having your BUN/CRE level tested at 3T Imaging on the day of your exam.
