Our center provides state-of-the-art, high-quality diagnostic imaging services and patient-centered care. It is our goal to act as an imaging resource that serves as an extension of area medical practices.
Each of our imaging centers utilizes the newest, most advanced technology in diagnostic imaging. The images are 100% digitally captured; this allows referring physicians and interpreting radiologists the ability to view images online, from any computer. Voice recognition software allows reports to be generated instantaneously. Radiologists’ interpretations are automatically transmitted to patients’ referring physicians. Our radiologists are board certified and fellowship trained from top universities in the US. Their expertise guarantees that our reports are comprehensive and accurate.

3T Imaging has been awarded a 3 year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for MRI. 3T is the only out-patient 3 tesla MRI facility in the North Shore area that has received this recognition. |

| 3T imaging Now Offers
Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring at its state of the art imaging center. Coronary artery disease occurs when the arteries that carry blood and oxygen to the heart become clogged with plaque. This plaque build-up slows the flow of blood to the heart muscle causing ischemia and increasing the chance of heart failure. | NEW STAFF RADIOLOGIST - Dr. Mahmood F. Mafee, one of the foremost authorities on head and neck imaging, has agreed to lend his services to 3T Imaging via University of California at San Diego. Dr. Mafee will also be providing readings at our sister site, Hawthorne MRI, located in Cicero, IL. Some of the typical exams that Dr. Mafee specializes in are, MRI's of the Orbits, Temporal Lobe, Brain/IAC, and Neck Soft Tissue, as well as CT scans of the Temporal Bone, Skull Base, Sinuses, Brain, and Orbits.
