3T Imaging offers the finest imaging equipment and most-qualified Radiologists, on par with (if not superior to) any Hospital in the Chicago area.
However, our costs to patients are generally hundreds to thousands of dollars less than those of hospitals, particularly for expensive studies like an MRI, CT, Ultrasound, or Mammogram.
If you have insurance with a deductible or co-insurance, the higher prices charged by hospitals will be billed to you … and that amount can be thousands of dollars. If you have no insurance, you will bear all of that cost.
Please call us to find out what your study will cost you before you select any other facility. And remember that our prices include Radiologist reading fees (whereas most hospitals charge an additional Radiologist fee).
Our center provides state-of-the-art, high-quality diagnostic imaging services and patient-centered care. It is our goal to act as an imaging resource that serves as an extension of area medical practices. Each of our imaging centers utilizes the newest, most advanced technology in diagnostic imaging.
The images are 100% digitally captured; this allows referring physicians and interpreting radiologists the ability to view images online, from any computer. Voice recognition software allows reports to be generated instantaneously. Radiologists’ interpretations are automatically transmitted to patients’ referring physicians. Our radiologists are board certified and fellowship trained from top universities in the US. Their expertise guarantees that our reports are comprehensive and accurate. MRI is an imaging modality that uses a microwave and a magnet to estimate the distribution of fat and water in the breast. Because it is not density dependent and emits no radiation, this type of exam is well-suited for use with the breast. American Cancer Society recommends MRI's for screening high risk women who show no signs of cancer.
